Megan Nicole Kardatzke

Megan Nicole Kardatzke, age 22, gained her angel wings on Wednesday November 28, 2018 after a lengthy battle against Leukemia. A funeral service will be held to celebrate her life at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday December 5, 2018 in University Church, 5520 University Blvd., W., with Rev. Frank Ciresi officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday December 4, 2018 in George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Blvd., S. and for the hour prior to the service on Wednesday in church.A Jacksonville native, Megan was born here November 11, 1996 to Leighanne (Allen) Kardatzke & Daniel James Kardatzke. She attended University Christian School and graduated from Creekside High School, Class of 2015. Megan was a longtime member of University Church where she was an active member of the youth program. Megan had many talents and interests, including Serving God, modeling, playing sports, gaming & shopping.Megan was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Guy and Nelle Allen.
