Mer Ler, born on July 1, 1957, in Burma, passed away peacefully in Jacksonville, Florida, on November 22, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Win Ner, with whom she shared 49 years of marriage filled with devotion and family.

A loving mother, she is survived by her five children—Mar Kraw, Sher Mue, Aw Clonde, Hsar Po, and Nayk Lay—along with 19 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild, all of whom brought her immense joy.

Mer Ler was a quiet, gentle woman whose sweetness and gratitude touched everyone around her. She never complained, always appreciated others, and lived a life centered around faith, kindness, and service. She enjoyed her work, loved planting and teaching, and found joy in prayer and sharing jokes. A strong Christian, her faith guided her every day.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Aspire Karen Baptist Church in Arlington (Jacksonville), with burial to follow at Arlington Park Cemetery.
