Michael Bowen of Starke passed away on February 10, 2023, after an extended illness. Michael was proceeded in death by his son Eric Michael Bowen of Starke his parents Rev. Julius D. Bowen and Willie Frankie Bowen of Keystone Heights. His brother Rev. Henry D. Bowen of Green Cove Springs and sister Brenda Moody of Starke. Michael is survived by the mother of his children Karen Bowen; daughters Heather Bowen and Jessica Bowen of Starke and his grandchildren Jayden Thomas, Jarvis Bowen, Makenna Bowen-Burch, Emmett Bowen-Burch, Jamiyah Williams and Kendrick Bowen-Scott all of Starke. Several nieces, nephews and many friends. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Kidney Foundation. No services are planned at this time.
