Michael "Mike" John Lindemann

Mr. Michael J. "Mike" Lindemann, age 60, of Florahome passed away at his home, Wednesday, January 27, 2016. He was born in Amarillo, Texas on July 12, 1955 and was raised in the Methodist faith. Mike had been a resident of Florahome for the past 20 years and was a self-employed remodeling contractor. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed watching football and other sports; his main joy was being on the lake with his grandson Michael and family. Mikes father Wilbert John Lindemann had preceded him in death. Survivors are his wife of 29 years, Carol (White) Lindemann; three children, Bryan Lindemann of Florahome, Lauren Lindemann and her fianc Matthew Gates of Miami and Austin Lindemann of Ormond Beach. Also left behind is his mother and step father, Hazel (Thomas) Hutchison and John of Lake City; two sisters, Debbie Kimmons of Lake City, Candie Maggard of Florahome and one grandson, Michael Lindemann also of Florahome. The family will be having a private memorial service at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to Haven Hospice, 6400 St. Johns Ave., Palatka, FL 32177.
