Michael Alan Patterson was born in Jacksonville, FL on September 8, 1961 to Gary L. Patterson, Sr. and Mary C. (Kathy) Patterson. He passed away on Saturday May 29th in Jacksonville, FL at the age of 59.Michael graduated from Terry Parker High School in 1979, served in the U.S. Air Force, and worked extensively for the Coca-Cola and Anheuser-Busch companies before finishing his career as an electrician, last working with SimplexGrinnel. He was an avid sports fan who loved the Florida Gators, Jacksonville Jaguars, NASCAR, and just sports in general.He is preceded in death by his father Gary L Patterson, Sr. and his sister Jan Wade Grumbles.He is survived by his longtime friend Penny Rosel; his 3 daughters Brittany Beck (Doug), Kristen Patterson, and Taylor Patterson; his 2 grandsons Raylan and Easton Beck; his mother Mary (Kathy) Patterson; his 2 brothers Gary Patterson, Jr. (Marlene), James Patterson (Mary), and brother-in-law Pete Grumbles; numerous nieces and nephews; and his dog Hubba.A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on June 3rd, 2021 in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Boulevard South. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
