Michael Paul Peterson

Michael Paul Peterson, age 36, passed away on September 26, 2018, in Jacksonville, Florida. Michael was born in Jacksonville on March 25, 1982, to Oliver Peterson and Priscilla Manning. He lived in the Bradford and Clay Counties for his entire life, and he attended Bradford High School. Following high school, Michael worked in construction; specializing in laying flooring. He will be remembered as a hard worker with a huge heart. Michael was always willing to help younger children and was an avid Gator football fan.He was preceded in death by his sister, Amanda Cross; grandmother, Kay Brown; and his aunt, Doris Manning. Survivors include his mother, Priscilla Manning of Gainesville; father, Tommy Royston of Middleburg; and his children, Jordan Peterson of Jacksonville, Briona Richardson of Interlachen, Alexis Thomas of Interlachen, Caleb Peterson of Hampton, and Nick Moore of Hampton.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 1, 2018 at the DeWitt C. Jones Chapel with Pastor Donnie Lott officiating. Interment will follow at Long Branch Cemetery.
