Michael Woleshin Michael Woleshin 94, a long time resident of Jacksonville passed away February 26, 2013. A native of Butler, PA he was a member of Garden City United Methodist Church, American and Jacksonville Ballroom Dancing Association, and The American Legion. After serving 20 years he retired from the U S Navy as a chief petty officer, graduated from Jones College with an associate degree in science, then went on to work for Volkswagen for 22 years. Michael is survived by his wife Agnes Davis Woleshin, 2 sons Michael (Joyce) Woleshin of Nocatee, FL Thomas (Marcia) Woleshin of Fernandina Beach, FL 6 grandchildren Marc, Troy, Shaun, Leanne Woleshin, Michael Googins, and Michelle Hayes, and 7 great grandchildren. A special nephew Richard Laughinghouse, a special niece Barbara Manning, a sister-in-law Bonnie Cole, 2 nephews Wade Pierce (Jennifer), and Keith Pierce, 2 nieces Terri Holton (Mark), and Gail Pierce. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Friday (TODAY) at George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4747 Main St. Jacksonville, FL 32206, where funeral services will be held 1 PM Saturday with Rev.
