Mildred Lavanna Fornshell

Mrs. Mildred Lavanna Fornshell, age 95, of Keystone Heights passed away at Roberts Care Center in Palatka, Saturday, March 26, 2016. She was born in Jasper, Illinois on September 1, 1920 to the late Elmer and Anna (Baker) Thacker. Mrs. Fornshell was a homemaker and had moved to Keystone Heights in 1992 from Evansville, Indiana. She attended Gadara Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening. Her husband Kenneth Fornshell had preceded her in death in 2011. Survivors are three children, Brenda Rainey of Keystone Heights, Barbara Lynn of Evansville, Indiana and Jack Fornshell and his wife Sandy of Port Orange. Also left behind are six grandchildren, Danny, Troy, Tony, Cindy, Nikie and Jenny, along with ten great grandchildren. The family will receive friends in the Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 31, 2016. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Shawn House officiating. Interment will follow at Keystone Heights Cemetery.
