Mrs. Mildred N. Pitts, age 89, of Keystone Heights passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Haven Hospice Roberts Care Center in Palatka. She was born in Norristown, Pennsylvania to the late Paul and Helen (Stephenson) Nester and had moved to Keystone Heights from Largo in June 2014. She was homemaker and was also attending the Keystone United Methodist Church; she enjoyed traveling, and had taken 58 cruises. Mrs. Pitts was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, John F. Pitts, Sr. in August 2014. She is survived by her three children, Fred Pitts, Jr. of Keystone Heights, Ron Pitts of Weverton, MD, and Paul Pitts of Nokesville, VA along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
