Mildred Wallace

Mildred (Mickey) Wallace passed away Friday, January 4, 2019 after a brief illness. She was born March 17th, 1929 in Gainesville, FL. Mickey was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening along with arts and crafts. Most of all she loved spending time with family and friends.She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Susannah Sanders; sister, Elizabeth Barker and brothers George Sanders, James Sanders , Lee Sanders and William Sanders.She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Harold Wallace and daughter, Donna Guscott (Harry) and many nephews and nieces. She will also be missed by numerous longtime friends and neighbors.A celebration of Mildred Wallace's life will be held Friday, January 11, 2019 at the Chapel in the Meadows located at Forest Meadows Cemetery Central 4100 NW 39th Ave, Gainesville, FL. An interment will be held on a later date with family in Gainesville, FL. Services are in the care of Forest Meadows Funeral Home 352 378-2528.
