Mitchell Seborn Wright, Jr., 87, beloved husband, son, father, and friend, was called to his eternal resting place on June 3, 2026.

He was born on August 4, 1938, in Jacksonville, Florida, to Mitchell and Beady Wright.

Mitchell is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Dorothy Wright; his sons, Michael Wright and David Wright; his daughter, Julie Pruitt; and his sister, Judy Fisher.

Mr. Wright served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a faithful member of Hogan Road Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. He was also a proud Mason.

His career afforded him the opportunity to travel and live in various countries with his family. An avid fisherman, Mitchell especially enjoyed spending time with his loved ones and creating lasting memories with family and friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, at 11:00 A.M. June 20, 2026 at Hogan Baptist Church,8045 hogan Road, Jacksonville, FL 32216, with Rev. Peter Copeland officiating.
