Obituary

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Molly M. Lloyd, age 86, of Keystone Heights, Florida, who departed this life on September 20, 2025. Born on January 8, 1939, in Massillon, Ohio, Molly embraced life with a spirit of joy and dedication to her family and community.

Molly was a loved matriarch, known affectionately as Grandma and GG to her cherished fourteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She is survived by her daughters, Jaqueline Frasco (Jerry), Kristina Sammons (Jeffrey), and Freya Lilly (Danny), and her son Marcus Sammons, Molly was preceded in death by: Her parents, Clyde and Mary Krenger, sisters, Mary Pat Witham, Dixie Mae Golya, Brother, Chio Krenger, her dear lifelong friend Becky Kuch, and two of her grandchildren, Ruth Ann and Lucas, whose memories will forever remain in the hearts of her family.

A proud graduate of Bishop Kenny High School, Molly dedicated over 30 years to the bar industry as a Master Mixologist. Her commitment to her craft was matched only by her devotion to her community, where she was actively engaged in local affairs. Molly served as a commissioner for six years, including four years as Vice Mayor and two years as Mayor, and she was an active member of the Chamber of Commerce all in Hawthorne Florida. Her love of nature was evident in her passion for gardening, and she cherished the many moments spent outdoors. Her love for old cars gave her great friends and many memories. Through all of her time in Hawthorne her most prized possession was her friendship with Dolores Rhoden, which she carries with her always.

Molly's adventurous spirit also took her across the globe, as she enjoyed traveling to destinations such as Egypt and Europe. Throughout her life, she remained connected to her family, finding joy in their accomplishments and their moments together.

In this time of sorrow, we ask that you keep Molly and her family in your thoughts and prayers. Her legacy of love, commitment, and community service will continue to inspire all who knew her.

A Celebration of her life will be announced at a later date.
