Mr. Dwight Talmage Smith, Jr.

Mr. Dwight Talmage Smith, Jr., 29, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2016 in Jacksonville. Mr. Smith was born February 19, 1987 in Jacksonville to parents Dwight Talmage Smith, Sr. and Lisa Prescott. Dwight was a loving and devoted Father to his son. He was a lifelong resident of the Jacksonville area, loved mechanics and building monster trucks and taking them to the Mud Bogs, and was an avid Georgia fan. Survivors are his mother, Lisa Prescott of Starke, father, Dwight Smith, Sr. of Jacksonville, son, Brantley Hunter Smith of Middleburg, sisters, Tia Nicole Smith of Jacksonville, and Tabatha Danielle McKeen of Middleburg, half-brother, Dwayne Smith of Jacksonville, mother of his child, Tawnya Darrnell, along with many extended family members and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 18, 2016 at the Calvary Baptist Church, 1532 Long Bay Road, Middleburg, with Brother Tim Pledger officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until the start of the service.
