Mr. Harry Stephens "Steve" Ficquette, Jr., 73 of Green Cove Springs, passed away Sunday, June 30, 2019 in Jacksonville. Steve was born November 25, 1945 in Orlando to parents Harry Stephens Sr., and Martha (Arnold) Ficquette. His parents and his brothers, Richard Arnold & Thomas Earl, preceded him in death. Survivors are his wife of 43 years, Lydia Ann (Boltin) Ficquette of Green Cove Springs, sons, Robert Boltin Ficquette (Sherry) of Asheboro, NC and Arnold Stephens Ficquette (Kristina) of Hudson, Ohio, and his granddaughters, Lydia Catherine Ficquette and Sarah Lynn Ficquette. He graduated from Pasco High School in Dade City, FL, Class of 1963. He held a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration & Accounting from Carson Newman College, Jefferson City, TN, in 1967. He volunteered to serve in the U. S. Army and finished his service at the Headquarters of the United States Strike Command in 1969. Steve was a long time accountant for Winn Dixie Stores, Inc., Jacksonville, FL. He was a member and Elder of St. Giles Presbyterian Church of Orange Park,FL. He loved his family and was a devoted husband, "Dad" and "Gramps". Steve was an excellent golfer and an avid Florida Gator fan. A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
