Mr. Raynold Edward Houghton

Mr. Raynold Edward Houghton, 97, passed away Friday, August 19, 2016. Mr. Houghton was born April 9, 1919 in Northampton, Massachusetts, the son of the late Edward Baker and Grace Mae (Scott) Houghton. He was a Railroad Train Dispatcher in Boston and Maine and served in the United States Army. Mr. Houghton was a resident of the Penney Farms Retirement Community and a former charter member of the Magnolia Point Country Club, the Masonic of Massachusetts, and the Railroad Dispatcher Union. His son, William Houghton, preceded him in death. Survivors are his wife, Rebecca Houghton of Penney Farms, daughters, Barbara Winters (John) and Elizabeth Carson (Kemp), and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. A Memorial Service is to be held at the Penney Farms Retirement Community at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requested a donation be made in his honor to the Penney Farms Residents Aid Fund.
