Mrs. Angela Teresa Riley, age 76, of Keystone Heights passed away Friday, August 1, 2025, at Shands Hospital in Gainesville following an extended illness. She was born December 1, 1948, on Staten Island, New York to Pisque and Joyce (Gieger) Finocchil. For many years, Mrs. Riley worked as a CNA working in home health care, which she enjoyed because she was not only helping others in need, but she was making new friends along the way. She grew up in the Catholic faith and loved saltwater fishing. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Allen Riley. Mrs. Riley is survived by her children Donald "Baby Duck" Kane, Denegre Beckman, and Steven Lamberson, along with sisters Virginia Wilson and Diane Chapman. She was lovingly called "Mee-maw" by Liam, Logan, and Levi Kane, Jacob and Stevie Lamberson, and James Kozielski. Also left behind are nieces, nephews, and a host of extended family members and friends that will miss her dearly. A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Riley will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 23, 2025, in the Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel. Her ashes will be interred at a later date.
