Mrs. Chumbley Williamson

Mrs. Bobbie Chumbley Williamson, 96, of Gainesville, Florida, passed away on February 17, 2021 in Gainesville.Graveside services will be held at Forest Meadows Memorial Park East on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at 2:00pm. Interment will follow at Forrest Meadows CemeteryMrs. Williamson was born in Joshua, Texas to Grover C. and Jesse B. Chumbley on March 5, 1924. She went to high school at Polytechnic High School in Ft. Worth, Texas and graduated in 1941. She went on to earn a Bachelors Degree in Biology from Texas Christian University, graduating in 1945. She worked as a High School Teacher in Ft. Worth where she met her husband, Oscar L. Williamson. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother.Mrs. Williamson is preceded in death by her Husband, Oscar L. Williamson, her sisters, Marjorie Clark of Ft Worth, Texas and Jo Francis Dale of Houston, Texas. Mrs. Williamson is survived by her sons, Phillip L. Williamson(Dianne) of Huntsville, Alabama and Jeffrey G.
