Mrs. Geraldine "Jerry" Moody

Mrs. Geraldine "Jerry" (Knowles) Moody, 82 of Green Cove Springs, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2018. Mrs. Moody was born March 6, 1936 in Penney Farms to parents William Jack and Theresa Barbara (Metziere) Knowles. She was a member of First Black Creek Baptist Church and her passion was quilting and crocheting. Mrs. Moody was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Marshall Knowles, Clifford Knowles, Victor Knowles, Buddy Knowles, and Jacquline "Jackie" Finney. Survivors are her children, Sherry Daniels of Green Cove Springs, Kevin Moody and David Moody both of Lakewood, CO, brothers, Lawrence Knowles of Green Cove Springs, and Kenny Knowles of St. Augustine, and her 7 grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, May 14, 2018 at Helm-Gallagher Funeral Home, 1811 Idlewild Avenue, SR 16, Green Cove Springs. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at First Black Creek Baptist Church, 3904 SR 16 West, Penney Farms, with Pastor Dr. H. Watson Moody officiating. Burial will follow in First Black Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
