Mrs. Gloria Crawford Shuford age 88 of Lawtey, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2026, at her residence in Lawtey. Gloria was born on January 21, 1938, in Lawtey to the late Jack and Lettie (Edwards) Crawford and was a Bradford High School graduate, class of 1956. Following graduation, she moved to Jacksonville and worked for Prudential for 15 years. She returned to Bradford County and worked as the Records Supervisor at Lawtey Correctional Institution, before ending her career working as Vice President of the Raiford Branch of State Employees Credit Union in 2003. Mrs. Shuford was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Lawtey, enjoyed sitting by the pool, time with family, spoiling her granddaughters, and loved gardening.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dave Shuford and her siblings, Lloyd Crawford, Betty Rosenberg, Hazel Muse, Jack Crawford, and Vivian Crawford.

Survivors are her son, Raymond Shuford (Pattie) of Lawtey, and brother, Darold Crawford (Dale) of Douglasville, GA. She was lovingly called "Nanny" by grandchildren, Taylor Shuford, Courtney Tillman (T.J.), great grandchildren, Remi, Paislyn, and Sadie.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 1:00 pm at the DeWitt C. Jones Chapel of Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will follow at 2:00 pm.
