Mrs. Kathleen "Kathy" Bonnie Mizell

Mrs. Kathleen "Kathy" Bonnie Mizell, 72, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2018. Mrs. Mizell was born December 31, 1945 in Clay Hill to parents Richard Oscar and Lavina (Padgett) Lang. Kathleen was of the Baptist faith and was a resident of Jacksonville and formerly of Clay Hill. She was a CNA for Penney Farms Retirement Community for over 25 years. Her husband, Henry Lowell (Moe) Mizell and her parents preceded her in death. Survivors are her sons, Randy Mizell (Dana) of Starke, Wally Mizell (Nancy) of Jacksonville, and Travis Mizell (Allison Padgett) of Jacksonville, and sisters Janet Diann Gault (W.E) of Starke, Mary Lee Sellers (David) of Lawtey, Judy Ann Northorp (Glen) of Jacksonville, and Deborah Joan Sellers (Horace) of Mayo. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 11, 2018 at Helm-Gallagher Funeral Home, 1811 Idlewild Avenue, SR 16, Green Cove Springs with Pastor Ken Pledger officiating. Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. until the start of the service. Burial will follow in Padgett Cemetery.
