Myrtle Brooks Rowe Myrtle Brooks Rowe passed away on the morning of September 8, 2012 in Livermore, California two months shy of her 90th birthday. She was born as Myrtle Brooks in Calhoun County, Florida on November 14, 1922. She had lived in the Jacksonville area until 2008, where she was an active member of the Arlington United Methodist Church. Myrtle worked for over 30 years as the head bookkeeper for the Jacksonville Sheriffs office. She was married for over 50 years to Clarence Rowe (a 30-year Jacksonville Sheriffs Department Officer) prior to his passing in 2003. Myrtle is survived by her sister Dorothy Spaeth and son Raymond Smith, in addition to one granddaughter, Kimberly (Smith) Patz; and two great grandsons, Benjamin and Gary Patz. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Arlington Park Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of George H.
