Myrtle Christine Ventress of Green Cove Springs went home to be with the Lord on September 18, 2012. She was born May 23, 1924 in Bethpage, Tennessee to Minnie and David Roberts. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, and friend to many. She loved her church, flower gardening and gospel music. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Richard, 4 brothers and 1 sister. She is survived by her son, Billy and her daughters, Shirley Hale, Wanda Worley, Pat Sumner and Kathy Miller. She has numerous grand, great & great grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at First Black Creek Baptist Church on September 20, 2012 at 2 P.M. with the viewing one hour prior to services.
