Obituary

Romans 10: 8- But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;[9] That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.[10] For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.[11] For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.[12] For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.[13] For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.A graveside service for Nanci Lynne Lahti 42, of Jacksonville, FL will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at 10AM in the Greenlawn Cemetery, 4300 Beach Boulevard, Jacksonville FL 32207 with Pastor Ralph Flowers officiating. Nanci is survived by her mother Nancy J. Brown of Jacksonville, FL, her step-father Lee F. Brown of Jacksonville, FL, a sister Anna L. Flinchum and her husband Rodney Dale Flinchum, of Midland, TX; two nieces, Jasmine Victoria Lahti, and Fiona Rose Sage. She is also survived by a nephew, Tristan Jacob Sage of Midland, TX. Nanci attended Terry Parker High school and then got her GED. Nanci, also known as Lynne, was a kind-hearted woman, loyal to her friends, and her family. She loved the beach, and has spent many hours fishing at the river or in the ocean. Lynne was an animal lover. As a child she owned a dog and as an adult she owned several cats. She always wanted to own a lion or a tiger. Visiting Catty Shack was a real special time for her. She was a fan of rock music, and went with her dad to listen to many local bands. Lynne had firm convictions and a tenacious personality, she was very intelligent, and gifted in art and drawing. Lynne was a great cook, she loved preparing food. One Thanksgiving she made a delicious, huge meal for all of the family, and we really enjoyed it. It tasted so much better than my Thanksgiving dinner we had from Publix. Lynne also, ran the kitchen for Floyd Slyman for many years. She is and will be extremely missed by her family and friends. The family has requested of those whom wish to attend the visitation; to please wear a mask. Thank you for your consideration during this difficult time.1 Corinthians 15: [50] Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.[51] Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,[52] In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.[53] For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.[54] So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.[55] O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?[56] The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.[57] But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.--Romans 10:8-13.Viewing & VisitationTuesday, July 05, 20226:00 PM - 8:00 PMGeorge H.
