Nancy Jean Posten

POSTEN: Nancy age 69 a life long resident of Jacksonville passed away on December 18, 2020. She moved to Folkston Georgia in 2004 to enjoy retirement life with her husband of almost 50 years. She was a graduate of Andrew Jackson Sr. High School class of 1969. She is preceded in death by her husband William Sr., her parents Eugene and Nellie Clyde Kirkland, and Father-In-Laws George Posten and Leo Roddy. She is survived by Two Children Pamela (Bruce) and William Jr. (Jessica) Nine Grand children Crystal,Christina,James III,William III(Trey), Taylor, Chloe, Madison, Brittney (Derek), and Veronica (Chris).Three Great Grand children Levi, Aleah, and Owen numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. She was an only child, but cherished the relationship with her husbands family Mother in Laws Mary Roddy and Faith Posten, Charma Posten ,Ronald Posten (Tawlie) and Gail Hutcherson (James). Funeral and arrangements are under the direction of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home 4747 Main Street Jacksonville, Florida 32206 (904) 355-9545. Eddis Dale Kirkland and Ricky Shouse will be officiating and William Posten and James Williams will be facilitating due to COVID. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
