Nancy Joan Ryals

Nancy JoAn Ryals, age 90, passed away peacefully on Wednesday April 14, 2021 in Gainesville, Fl.Including a 25 year career at the University of Florida, she lived a long and fulfilling life as a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, wife, real estate investor, landlord, mentor and friend of many. One of her fond recent passions was quilting.She is survived by her 4 children, Jack Ryals, Sandra Hayden, Geri Yontz and Mike Ryals, their spouses (Susan Ryals, Louis Yontz and Jane Ryals), 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She married NC Ryals in 1948 and was preceded in death by him (October 11, 2002); her parents, AJ and Zader Gibbs; and three siblings.Funeral services will be Tuesday April 20th at 2:00 pm in the Chapel at Forest Meadows Memorial Park, 4100 NW 39th Ave, Gainesville, Fl.
