Narcisa Catbagan Garcia, 90, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2022, in Gainesville,Florida. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family during the last days of her life.Narcisa was born on March 18, 1932, in Manila, Philippines, but has been in Gainesville, Floridasince 2005 where she lived the remainder of her life.Narcisa is survived by her daughter, Grace; son-in-law, Almario; and her two grandchildren,Gracela and Raegina.Narcisa was a skilled seamstress, a devout Catholic, and a traveler. She enjoyed crafting clothesfor others to wear and touching the lives of many through her designs. She was a spiritualwoman who spread the faith of the Lord and often attended mass every Sunday. She prayed forthe wellbeing of others even during the last days of her life. She traveled with her family andenjoyed her time at Disney World, Georgia, Tennessee, Canada, and Philippines. She lovedlearning new things, sightseeing, and making everlasting memories. She will be deeply missedby her friends, family, and all who knew her.A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at 11:30 am at Holy FaithCatholic Church.
