Nathan "Harold" Starling

Mr. Nathan "Harold" Starling age 89 of Lawtey passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021. Nathan was born on July 20, 1931 in Lawtey to the late Nathan and Daisy (Futch) Starling. Mr. Starling will be remembered for his love of family and gardening.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, Evangaline Bush, Lorene Smith, Hazel Sapp, Mary Crawford, Richard "Eugene" Starling and Thelma Goodman. Survivors include his wife of 55 years Janet M. (Johnson) Starling; children, Harold (Kay) Wayne Starling, Carol Darlene (Ron) Dowling, Nathan Eric Starling, Ella (Tim) Anderson; sister, Bonnie Higginbotham, grandchildren, Gareth Starling, Jeremiah Dowling, Kelli McMahan, Paul McMahan, Michael McMahan and Jenni (Kenneth) Cole; and many great-grandchildren.Graveside services will be held at Lawtey Cemetery at a later date.Arrangements are by JONES-GALLAGHER FUNERAL HOME OF STARKE 904-964-6200.
