Neil Slappey Maddux

A funeral service for Neil Slappey Maddux, 91 of Jacksonville, FL, will be held on Friday, July 19, 2019 at 11AM at First Baptist Church Downtown in the Hobson Auditorium with Sunday School Teacher Terry Davidson officiating. A visitation will take place one hour prior to the service. A private burial will take place Saturday in the Oaklawn Cemetery in Fort Valley, GA. He is survived by his loving wife Bobbie. Two daughters; Kathy Maddux Hammond (Andy) of Houston, AL, and Kimberly Paige Heaton (Mason) of Jacksonville, FL. Two sons; Neil "Joe" Maddux of Celebration, FL, and Scott D. Futrell (Mary Jarvis) of Memphis, TN. A sister in law; Carolyn Maddux of Greensboro, NC. Eight grandchildren; Chris (Angela) Hammond, Sam (Kandice) Hammond, Mitchell Heaton, Rachel Heaton, Mary Elizabeth Futrell, Patrick (Alex) Futrell, Isaac Futrell, and Christian Futrell. Two Great Grandchildren; Ruby Hammond and Collin Lambert.
