Mrs. Nelda Faye Harris SmithMrs. Nelda Faye Harris Smith age 82, of Hawthorne Passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at her residence. Mrs. Smith was born on August 28, 1929 in Baker County, Florida to the late Marion Victor and Maude (Williams) Harris. Prior to retirement she worked as a beautician. Nelda enjoyed spending time with family and friends, sewing, and gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband Tommie Lamar Smith and her son Victor Lamar Smith. Survivors are: children: Nelda Hoffmeyer (Dennis) of Keystone Heights; Michael Smith (Lisa) of Melrose; siblings: Myra Hennriott of Vidalia, GA; Reba McLean of Fernandina Beach; Dale Harris of Kingsland, GA; grandsons: Braden (Cera); Michael, Jr. (Tanya); great granddaughter: Baylee and several other grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Smith will be on Sunday, April 15, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. in the Community Church of Keystone Heights with Reverend Buddy Kalem officiating.
