Nellie M. Weaver, 97, formerly of Gainesville, died Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City. Nellie was born September 24, 1915 in Pentwater, Michigan to James and Cora Genter Counahan. She currently was living in the Lake City area. Nellie was Nazarene, a dedicated and faithful Christian, and looked forward to attending Church and serving the Lord. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, great-great-great grandmother and loved her family dearly.Nellie was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel, and is survived by Five Generations, including three daughters, Barbara Smith, Nancy Scott, and Judy Baylis, ten grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and great-great-great grandchildren.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, Feb 11, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00a.m. Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Forest Meadows Memorial Park, East, 3700 S.E.
