Mrs. Nellie Bell Thomas Wheeler age 87, of Starke passed away Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Windsor Manor Nursing Home. Mrs. Wheeler was born on February 14, 1926 in Davidson County, Tennessee to the late John Warren and Ada Overa (Haley) Thomas and moved to Starke in 1950 from Tennessee. Nellie was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband Herschel Fred Wheeler, Sr. and her son Herschel Fred Wheeler, Jr. Survivors are her sons: Jesse Wheeler, Paul (Pam) Wheeler, James (Cindy) Wheeler all of Starke, and Donald (Linda) Wheeler of Keystone Heights. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends in the DEWITT C. JONES CHAPEL of Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home on Monday, November 25, 2013 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM with funeral services starting at 3 oclock. Interment will follow in Crosby Lake Cemetery with Reverend Gene Bass officiating.
