Nettie Ruth Griffin, born on January 13, 1930, in Stewart, Mississippi, passed away peacefully from natural causes on February 4, 2025. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother who filled her family and friends lives with love, laughter, and ever ready sass and wit. Nettie was known for her kind heart, her love for Jesus and her passion for spending time with loved ones, traveling, food, puzzles and, of course, her beloved dogs. Throughout her life, she dedicated herself to helping others as a Therapy Aid at Tacachale, Sunnland in her tenure in Florida, where her compassion shone brightly. Nettie leaves behind her cherished family: her daughter Phyllis Griffin; her grandsons: Rick Henderson (Heather), Travis Henderson (Jennifer) and her great-grandchildren, Rachelle Campbell (Garry), Caroline Henderson, and Jack Henderson, great-great grandchildren: Wyatt Campbell and Dalton Campbell. They will hold her memory close and remember her infectious spirit and unwavering support. A Memorial service will be held to celebrate Nettie's life on July 12, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home in Starke. The Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Family and friends are invited to join in honoring a wonderful woman who loved deeply and lived life to the fullest. Nettie will be missed dearly, but her legacy of love will continue to inspire all who knew her. Nettie was preceded in death by her husband Wesley Griffin: her parents; Louis and Cordie Breazeale and, four sisters and four brothers.
