Nettie Louise Tomlinson

Funeral services for the beloved Nettie Louise Tomlinson, 100, who went to be with her Lord and Savior January 10, 2016, will be held Saturday January 16, 2016 at 9:30 A.M. in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4747 Main Street, Jacksonville, FL, 32206, with Rev. Jim Jacobs officiating. The interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 5-7:00 P.M.Nettie was born on September 22, 1915, in Bradford County, FL. She was a member of various churches including Theresa Baptist Church, Franklin St. Baptist Church and Mandarin Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Leon Mark Tomlinson in 2003 and their infant twin sons. Survivors include daughters, Wanda Selman (Wiley) and Glenda Jones (Fred); Brother, Martin Hersey, Jr.; Four grandsons, Derek Igou (Francie), Devon Igou (Sasha), Damon Igou (Janice) and Chad Jones (Sandy); Ten Great grandchildren, Daniel Igou (Stehanie), Dylan Igou, David Igou, Rhey Igou, Caleb Jones, Rachel Jones, Corban Jones, Abagail Eastburn, Dayne Igou and Drew Igou; Three great great grandchildren, Anthony Woodward, Deyton Igou and Caitlyn Igou.In lieu of flowers and to honor our precious Nana, please give to the Christian charity of your choice and please hug a loved one and tell them that you love them.
