Nevin Elmer Blair

Mr. Nevin Elmer Blair age 97, a longtime resident of Keystone Heights passed away Thursday, October 15, 2020. He was born July 5, 1923, in Chambersburg, PA to Franklin and Floy (Good) Blair. He proudly served in the United States Army/Signal Corps during WWII. Mr. Blair retired from C & P Telephone Company in 1984 as their Maintenance Manager. He served on the Washington DC Gospel Mission Board and looked forward to making his monthly visits to a nursing home. Mr. Blair enjoyed running, playing his coronet and "fixing things". In addition to his parents his first wife Grace Blair and brothers Byron Blair and Merle Blair had all preceded him in death. Left behind is his wife of 31 years Roberta "Bobbie" Blair; three children Stephen Blair (Joan) of Grundy Center, IA, Barbara Shier (Craig) of Fleming Island and Jim Blair (Heide) of Waukegan, IL. Also left behind are six grandchildren and one great grandchild. The family held a private graveside service at the Keystone Heights Cemetery.
