Nicholas "Nick" Queitsch

Nicholas "Nick" Queitsch, 77, of Gainesville, FL (formerly of Largo, FL) passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at HCA FL North Florida Hospital in Gainesville, FL. Nicholas was born March 31, 1949, in Wilmington, Delaware to Emil and Rita (Ferreira) Queitsch. After graduating high school, Nicholas started his career as a Butcher and went on to open his own Meat Market. Later in life, he went into the commercial Heating and Cooling industry. Nicholas enjoyed watching sports, fishing, being at the beach, and spending time with family. Nicholas is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Debra Queitsch of Gainesville; his children, Nick (Christy), Joshua (Yolonda), and Erica (Christian); his grandchildren, Averie, Alaina, Kasiah, Katriel, Ezekiel, Melah, Lailie, and Lily; his brother Richard (Debby), and sister Lisa (Paul). Nicholas is preceded in death by his parents, his son Richard, and first wife Donna Phillips. The cremation for Nicholas A. Queitsch will take place at Forest Meadows Funeral Home, Gainesville, FL.
