Obituary

My Dad, Nick, went tobe with to the Lord on May 2nd 2013. The best dad anyone could ask for, with great gentle humor andwas what a gentlemen is truly. He loved theLord and went to church every Sunday and holiday untilhis body gave out after the age of 90, but I know he is with Jesus now. As a child growing up Iremember him working hard with his corner grocery store until the big box stores came along like the Acme. But he continued to work to make a great family. He never had a bad word to say about anyone. He was a WW2 Vet and never talked about it, except that he landed on Omaha Beach.. In 2004 he moved to Foulkeways Retirement home in Gwynedd Pa.,which he really enjoyed being there with their great friends, great care and of course most of all with his kitty "Charlie". In 2008 he and 9 others where honored by The French Republic and named a "Chevalier" of the Legion on Honor, which is a sign of French's true and unforgettable gratitude and appreciation for their personal, precious contribution to the United States' decisive role in the liberation of their country during World War II.The Legion of Honor was created by Napoleon in 1802 toacknowledge services rendered to France byof great merit. The French people will never forgot their courage and devotion to the great cause of freedom. He leaves behind his 2 daughters Darlene Pifalo of Gainesville, Roberta Galati and her husband Bill Goulding ( a son he never had & loved) of Berwyn Pa...plus many nieces and nephews, that were with him through the past years. He is missed, but is now with this "beautiful wife" Adele, who passed away Oct 1,1999. We love you Dad with all our hearts!! Thank you for being a wonderful role model of all who knew you.
