Nina Sloan Age 79 Of Keystone Heights

Mrs. Nina M. Sloan, age 79, of Keystone Heights, passed away on February 9, 2026, in Gainesville, Florida. Nina was born on January 16, 1947, in Paintsville, Kentucky to the late Alfred Alexander and Janice (Whittaker) Alexander.

Nina's Journey brought her from Kentucky to Florida where she made a career as a nurse working at UF Shands. For many years, she dedicated herself to the health and well-being of her patients and staff.

Those who knew Nina would describe her as loving, friendly, and gentle. She found joy in spending time with friends, whether it be sharing a meal of exchanging stories.

Her spirit, characterized by unwavering kindness and gentle strength, will forever be cherished in the hearts of her friends and all who knew her.

Left behind to cherish her memory are nephew Stevie Ray Alexander, her two nieces RaeAnne VanderBroeck, Shannon Alexander, and her sister-in-law Anne Alexander.
