Mr. Nolan Franklin Stanley, 77 a longtime resident of Niceville passed away Sun. Nov. 22, 2009 at Carrington Manor in Crestview. Mr. Stanley was born in Macclenny, FL on Jan. 6, 1932 to the late Frank and Rosa (Yon) Tomlinson. In 1964, Mr. Stanley moved to Niceville and retired from the United States Airforce. He became a member of the Rosemont Baptist Church and also retired from the State of Florida as a Corrections officer. His survivors include his wife of 57 years, Allie (Nolan) Stanley of Niceville and their children: Nolan Chip Franklin Stanley, Jr. of Jacksonville, Joel Lynn Stanley of Niceville, Rev. Daryll Gene Stanley of Monticello, Shawn Harrison Stanley, and Laurie Stanley Collars both of Niceville; brothers: James E. Stanley of Ft. Myers & John Raymond Stanley of Crestview; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Stanley will be held on Sat. Nov. 28, 2009 at 1 Oclock in the Russell Baptist Church with Rev. Daryll Stanley officiating. Burial will follow at the Oakland Cemetery.
