Nona Pearl Williams passed away September 29, 2022. She had been in declining health and passed peacefully in her sleep. Nona was a devoted Mother of two boys, Grandmother of five, and Great-Grandmother of two. Her family was her world and she loved Fish Frys and sharing Milk Shakes with them. In addition to her boys, she also helped "raise" many others in her neighborhood and was truly loved.Nona was born October 2, 1936 in Surrency, Appling County, Georgia. She lived in Jacksonville, Florida most of her adult life where she was a Hairdresser/Shop Owner for over 50 years and volunteered for many years at Memorial Hospital. She was a devoted member of the South Point SDA Church and served as Church Secretary.Nona is proceeded in death by her Father-Alton Lee Darsey, Mother-Carrie Lightsey Darsey, Brother-Eldridge Darsey, Brother-Denean Darsey, Brother-Robert Darsey, Sister-Deanna Watkins, Sister-Dixie Cribb, and her Daughter-in-law-Diana Williams.She is survived by her Sister-Bronnie Darsey, Son-Douglas Williams and his Wife-Shelba Williams, his Children Granddaughter-Ashley Mcleod, Granddaughter-Leanna Turner, Grandson-Demes Shaun Patrick Kilby, Great-Granddaughter-Charlotte McLeod, Son-Ronald Williams and his Friend-Karla Hood, his Children Granddaughter-Caitlin Winter, Grandson-CJ Williams and many Nieces and Nephews that she loved spending time with.
