WILLIS, NORDELLNordell Rock Willis, age 34, passed away on Tuesday June 20, 2017 in Raceland, Louisiana. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday July 8, 2017 in the chapel of George H. Hewell & Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Blvd., S.Nordell was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado on October 7, 1982 to Nordi Rock Willis & Marianne Kay McCarty Willis. A longtime Florida resident, Nordell loved being on or near the water. He was a commercial fisherman and when he wasn't working, Nordell would be with his sons - either fishing, going to the beach or both.Nordell is survived by his parents Nordi & Marianne Willis of Palatka, FL; his 2 sons, Fisher Willis & Rivers Willis; a brother, Caine Willis; a sister, Courtney Dupries (Chris) and his grandparents Carl Willis (Cherie) & Larry McCarty (Helen). Nordell is also survived by his numerous aunts, uncles, cousins & extend family members and friends.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to help support Nordell's sons to: Edward Jones, 605 State Road 13 North, Suite #101, Fruit Cove, FL 32259.
