Norma Jane Rabby Khan, 66, died Wednesday, February 25, 2015 in Jacksonville. Born October 12, 1948, Jane grew up in Jacksonville where she spent most of her years. She was a longtime member of Southside United Methodist Church. She was a graduate of the University of Florida with a degree in philosophy. Jane was an avid sports fan following the Florida Gators and the Atlanta Braves. Throughout her long battle with illness, she maintained her witty personality and always loved to spend time visiting family and loved ones. Mrs. Khan was preceded in death by her father Curtis O'Neil "Joe" Rabby and her beloved mother Norma Kathleen Sins Rabby. She is survived by her two daughters Sabrina J. Khan of Phoenix, Arizona and Rana (Daniel) Fahey of Wake Forest, North Carolina; cousins Glenda Alice Rabby of Tallahassee, Florida and Tommie Sue Rabby of Fernandina Beach, Florida; and many loving friends. Funeral services are under the direction of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home. A Graveside service will be held at Oaklawn Cemetery on Friday, February 27, 2015 at 2:00pm with Pastor Bruce Jones officiating.
