Norma J. Mccarty

Norma J. McCarty, 85, passed away on Tuesday February 14, 2017 in Jacksonville. Norma was born in New Berlin, Illinois on October 29, 1931 to William & Pearl Horn. She was one of 15 children raised on the family farm. Norma was a longtime Jacksonville resident and worked for over 20 years as a cashier at Publix on Atlantic Blvd.Norma was preceded in death by her parents & eight of her siblings. She is survived by her four children, Michael McCarty, Marianne Willis, Mickey Vogelsong & Terry Lyttle; seven grandchildren, Melissa, Courtney, Nordell, Caine, Tyler, Kelsie & Madison; four great-grandchildren, Ethan, Rivers, Fisher six of her siblings, Dean, Geraldine, Howard, Helen, Emily & Pearl and by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family & friends..Memorial ServiceSaturday, February 25, 201711:00 AM Chapel of George H.
