Obituary

Mr. Norman Waterman Auld 91, of Keystone Heights passed way Thursday February 24, 2011 at the Park of the Palms. Mr. Auld was born on June 4, 1919 in Nutley, New Jersey to the late Hampton and Sarah (Hansen) Auld, Sr. He had served in the United States Navy Submarine Service during W.W.II and prior to his retirement he was an Aircraft Mechanic for Eastern Air Lines. In 1980 Mr. Auld moved to Keystone Heights from Orange Springs and was a member of the Park of the Palms Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Verna S. Auld and one sister, and four brothers. Survivors are his children, Peggy Short of Gainesville, Janice Auld of Alaska, Richard Auld of Ocala, Robert Auld of Raleigh, NC, and Timothy Auld of Reno, NV. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Auld will be held on Tuesday March 1, 2011 at 2 Oclock in the Park of the Palms Chapel with Mr. Allan Martin and Mr. Bruce Whittaker officiating. Burial will follow at the Keystone Heights Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Park of The Palms, Willey Manor,706 Palms Circle, Keystone Heights, FL 32656.
