Norman Charles Woods Mr. Norman Charles Woods, 88 of Jacksonville, FL, passed away on May 31, 2013. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 10 AM in Greenlawn Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32207, with U.S.N. Chaplain Steve Souders officiating. Mr. Woods is survived by his loving wife Mrs. Violet Rice Woods of Jax, FL., his two sons; N. Alan Woods of Jax, FL. and Paul Rollins, Jr. of Atlanta, GA., two daughters; Evelyn Thierson and Sandy McGrath both from West Yarmouth, MA. He is also survived by twelve Grandchildren and eleven Great-Grandchildren. Mr. Woods is predeceased by his second wife Mrs. Blanche Jane Woods. Mr. Woods retired a decorated veteran from the United States Navy receiving high commendations as Chief Petty Officer (AOCM E-9).
