Oleda Beatrice "Bea" Smith

Mrs. Oleda Beatrice "Bea" Smith, 96, a longtime resident of Starke passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 in Asheville, North Carolina. She was born on October 21, 1924 in Covington, Virginia to the late Hida Felix and Mabel Celia (Kemper) Jones. Bea was a homemaker and will be remembered for her faith in God, teaching Sunday school for decades, and for her unconditional love for her family. Preceding her in death was her husband of 69 years, Fred D. Smith and her son, A. Wayne Smith. Survivors are her son, C. David Smith (Lanay), daughter, Barbara Ann Biron (Scott) and her adored grandchildren, Brandon, Christopher and Trista. Funeral services will be a private graveside celebration of moms life.
