Ollie Dugger Evans Ollie Dugger Evans, 84, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Evans was born January 3, 1928 in Kildare, GA to George Henry Dugger and Louise Coursey. She was a member of Southpoint Community Church. Ollie is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Welburn Evans, Sr. and a brother, Lawrence D. Dugger. She is survived by a daughter, Lynn (Mike) Maple; sons, Joseph Welburn (Millie) Evans, Jr. and Eric Walter (Linda) Evans; sister, Regina Nixon; brother, George H. Dugger Jr.; grandchildren, Michelle Buttenob, Joseph Welburn Evans III, Angela D. Evans, Jesse S. Evans, Mathew Evan Maple, Marcus Steven Maple and ten great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Friday May 25, 2012 at Southpoint Community Church, 7556 Salisbury Road Jacksonville, FL 32256 with Pastor Russ Austin officiating. The casket will be open for viewing and a visitation for family, friends and condolences will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Graveside services will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday May 26, 2012 at Newington City Cemetery, Newington, GA.
