Oscar L. Williamson, 89, passed away on August 23, 2012 in Gainesville, Florida.He was born on September 6, 1922 in Irene, Texas. Mr. Williamson served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He received his BS Degree in Mathematics from Texas Wesleyan University and had a long career in Aerospace engineering and computing systems analysis.He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Bobbie C. Williamson; 2 sons, Phil (Dianne) Williamson of Huntsville, Alabama and Jeff Williamson of Gainesville, Florida; and grandchildren, Brian, Justin, and Victoria, all of Gainesville.The family will receive friends at the Forest Meadows Funeral Home, Gainesville, on Saturday, August 25 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM with graveside services following at Forest Meadows Memorial Park East, 3700 SE Hawthorne Road, Gainesville at 1:00 PM.
