Mr. Ottis Lewis "Reb" Dixon, Sr. age 77, of Keystone Heights passed away at his home Tuesday, October 9, 2018. He was born January 21, 1941, in Waycross, Georgia to the late Otis and Janie (Sweat) Dixon. Since the 1960s he and his wife have owned property on Santa Fe Lake and nearly twenty years ago they decided to make Keystone Heights their permanent home. Mr. Dixon precious lived in Jacksonville for many years and retired from Anheuser Busch as a brewer following his thirty years of employment. He was known for enjoying life, loving to fish and his carpentry work, such as building wooden cars, furniture and cabinets; gardening peas and okra was also a passion of his. Mr. Dixon leaves behind his devoted and loving wife of 57 years Linda Sue (Bearden) Dixon of Keystone Heights and their two children Ottis (Brenda) Dixon, Jr. and Nichole Gray all of Jacksonville. His three grandchildren Shelby Gray, Mason Gray and Samantha Dixon along with his four great grandchildren Malia, Justice, Lauren and Seth lovingly called him "Poppa".
