Mrs. Pamela Pam Sue Buchanan 45, of Keystone Heights passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2011 at Shands UF in Gainesville following an extended illness. Pam was born in Frankfort, Indiana on February 4, 1965 to the late Jack and Beverly (Altic) Myers. Pam a substitute school teacher and teacher for many years with the Bradford and Clay County School Board. Pam was raised in the Methodist Faith and enjoyed life and teaching children. She is survived by her husband of 24 years Robert Buc Buchanan, children, Joey Buchanan and Alesha McGruder both of Keystone Heights, Tonia Manley of Sanford, David Buchanan of Gastonia, NC and Nikki Singh of Naperville, IL. She is also survived by her brother, Jeffery Myers of Frankfort, IN, and a sister Patti Snell of Leesburg, and 9 grandchildren. A memorial service for Pam will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family is asking for contributions to be made to Shands Cancer Center, 1376 Mowry Rd., Gainesville, FL 32610.
