Mrs. Pamela Jo "Pam" Raymond, age 60 of Keystone Heights passed away Saturday, June 1, 2019, at Shands Hospital in Gainesville following a brief illness. She was born February 14, 1959, in Washington Court House, Ohio to Hubert Wayne and Opal Ellen (Chandler) Carpenter. Pam served in the United States Army and was a retired heavy equipment operator. She was a member of the American Legion Post #202 in Keystone Heights and enjoyed gardening, plants and animals. Pam also loved candy and was known to have it shipped to her home on occasions. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter Johanna; a brother Terry Wayne Carpenter who was killed in action in Vietnam and a sister Sandra Kay Carpenter who was only six years old. Left behind is Pams loving and devoted husband of 33 years Tom Raymond of Keystone Heights and their daughters Victoria Henderson (Mark) of Hinesville, Georgia and Rachel Raymond of Keystone Heights. Also left behind are five siblings Delores Isaac (Roger) of Kentucky, Linda Carpenter (Noel) of Keystone Heights, Hubert Keith Carpenter (Diann) of Ohio, Barbara Carpenter of Dunnellon and Alan Bryan Carpenter (Donna) of Tennessee and was lovingly called grandma by her granddaughter Emberlyn Jo Bearden. A memorial service for Pam will be held Sunday, June 9, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. in the American Legion Post #202.
